Spider-Man: No Way Home Doctor Strange Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece figure revealed

December 17, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

Coinciding with the film’s release this week [read our review here], Hot Toys has revealed the 1:6 scale Movie Masterpiece Series Doctor Strange figure which is based on the likeness of Benedict Cumberbatch in Marvel and Sony’s blockbuster sequel Spider-Man: No Way Home. The collectible is available to pre-order now from Sideshow, priced at $315; check it out here…

Sophisticatedly crafted based on Doctor Strange’s appearance in the movie portrayed by acclaimed actor Benedict Cumberbatch, the incredibly detailed figure features a newly painted head sculpt; Sorcerer Supreme’s signature outfit with intricate embroidery on the Cloak of Levitation adding a mystical touch to the costume; highly detailed mystical artifacts including the LED light-up platform with mystic art effects, the Eye of Agamotto, sling rings, mystic art effect accessories, interchangeable hands to recreate the spell casting scenes, mystic art effect diorama accessories and a dynamic figure stand.

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: No Way Home sees Jon Watts (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home) directing Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Zendaya (MJ), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson), Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan), Angourie Rice (Betty Brandt), Jorge Lendeborg Jr. (Jason Ionello), Benedict Wong (Wong), J.K. Simmons (J. Jonah Jameson), Martin Star (Mr. Harrington), J.B. Smoove (Mr. Dell), Hannibal Buress (Coach Wilson), Jamie Foxx (Electro), Alfred Molina (Doctor Octopus), Rhys Ifans (Lizard), Thomas Haden Church (Sandman), and Willem Dafoe (Green Goblin).
