Star Trek: Picard series adds Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway and Isa Briones

April 19, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

CBS All Access is filling out the series regular cast of its upcoming Star Trek: The Next Generation sequel focusing on Patrick Stewart’s iconic captain Jean-Luc Picard, with The Wrap reporting that Alison Pill (The Newsroom), Harry Treadaway (Mr. Mercedes) and Isa Briones (Takers) have joined the series.

Details on the Picard series are being kept under wraps, but it has been revealed that it will take place a couple of decades after The Next Generation, and following the destruction of Romulus as seen in 2009’s Star Trek.

Pill, Treadaway and Briones will star alongside Stewart and the previously announced Santiago Cabera (Salvation), Michelle Hurd (Blindspot) and Evan Evagora (Fantasy Island). As yet, there’s no official word on any character details, although we have had some rumoured breakdowns.

The plan is for Star Trek: Picard to premiere on CBS All Access sometime towards the end of the year.
