Big Finish Productions will be releasing a new full-cast audio box set filled with new adventures for the Seventh Doctor this July with The Seventh Doctor Adventures: Fixers. This latest outing for Sylvester McCoy’s Seventh Doctor finds the Time Lord and his new companion Ray (Sara Griffiths) dealing with the final wishes of an old friend, fighting mutated seals and getting involved in an intergalactic race.
After reuniting with the Doctor in July 2025’s Past Forward box set, Ray is about to find out what adventures await in three new stories. These are:
The Executor by Chris Chapman – When the Doctor becomes the executor of the will of his old friend Pegroninagall ‘Peg’. His main task is to clear her TARDIS of keepsakes and mementoes, but when he gets to the old dovecot in a muddy field that conceals the TARDIS, he realises that whatever killed Peg may also still be inside.
Oil and Water by James McDermott – When the TARDIS arrives on the Norfolk coast, the Doctor and Ray discover that Blakeney’s seals have become mutated, bloated and killers. Working alongside the grieving boater Anne, the pair decide to investigate what is in the water and what it wants with the sea life. Can the Doctor stop whatever sinister plans are underway?
Much Ado About Racing by Fio Trethewey – When the Doctor and Ray arrive at the start of the Intergalactic Championship Rally, the pair are soon caught between two rival racers. There’s also something feeding on Ray’s heartache and regret, causing long-buried feelings to resurface.
This box set guest stars Celia Imrie as the Time Lord Peg, Sion Tudor Owen, Annie Wallace, Poppy Miller, Anne Odeke, Marc Silk and Rhîan Crowley-McLean.
