The Boys star Aya Cash confirms Stormfront won’t be appearing in season 3

March 30, 2021 by Liam Waddington

With the third season of Amazon’s The Boys currently in development, Aya Cash, who played the villainous Stormfront in season two, has confirmed that she won’t be appearing in the latest season.

“I want to know if she’ll be back too,” Cash said during an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “I’m not there now. I’m on a new FOX show now called This Country. My contract for The Boys was only for a year so, who knows? Maybe they can CGI my face in.”

At the end of season two, we last saw Stormfront being left battered and bleeding on the ground with all four limbs severed from her body but that doesn’t mean the character is gone for good and could always come back for revenge at a later time. It is also possible that Cash is keeping her appearance in season three a secret for a surprise return.

The third season of The Boys sees the addition of Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) as Soldier Boy and Katia Winter (Blood & Treasure, Sleepy Hollow) as villain Little Nina, while expected returnees include Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Tomer Capon, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Erin Moriarty, Jessie Usher, Nathan Mitchell, Chace Crawford, Claudia Doumit, Colby Minifie and Giancarlo Esposito.
