The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross releases on mobile

March 4, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Netmarble has today announced the release of their cinematic adventure RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross on Google Play and the App Store.  This all new title based on the hit anime will allow players to experience the world of Britannia and the adventures of captain Meliodas.

In The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross players will be able to enjoy the adventures and storytelling from the popular anime.  Players will be able to select from a large roster of heroes from the anime and create their very own team which they will use to defeat enemies using a novel approach to card-based combat.  This novel approach places an emphasis on combining cards and characters to create special moves.

There are lots of unique costumes, including original outfits, that players can kit their heroes out in plus there’s over 100 dramatic cutscenes with dialogue from the cast of the original Japanese voice actors to watch.

Featuring:

  • Create a team of heroes and customise them in never-before-seen outfits.
  • The world of Britannia has been faithfully recreated for players to enjoy.
  • Characters rendered in AR and other Easter eggs to discover.
  • Join up with friends to take down epic enemies in Death Match mode or take others out in PvP.
  • Combine skills and cards to create the Ultimate Move.

“As fans of video games and anime, the Netmarble team found The Seven Deadly Sins was abundant with the type of stories and gameplay we strive to achieve with our games, and we developed new technology to replicate the original work in a manner that is faithful to fans of the anime,” said Simon Sim, President of Netmarble US. “We are excited to finally deliver a game that is authentic and enjoyable to players and The Seven Deadly Sins fans alike, especially following the game reaching #1 on the Japanese App Store and Google Play stores, and look forward to seeing what global fans think of the game.”

The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is available on Google Play and the App Store.  Those who pre-registered for the game will be receiving a wealth of in-game items, including Meliodas in-game character, special outfit and weapon, in-game currency and premium currency, and more.
