Welcome to an abridged, pre-San Diego Comic-Con edition of The Week in Spandex…
Well, it’s almost that time of year again. In just a few short hours the San Diego Comic-Con International 2017 will get underway, and as usual it promises to be a huge weekend for fans of superhero movies and television. Warner Bros. is expected to unveil its revamped DC Extended Universe slate, Marvel Studios has a 90-minute panel (and will hopefully drop that Infinity War trailer online), 20th Century Fox will likely showcase its currently-in-production X-Men movies, and that’s all before we even get to the small screen stuff.
We’ll be keeping you posted with all of the news from San Diego over the next few days – bookmark here to make sure you don’t miss anything – but before then, here’s a quick roundup of all the superhero news from the past few days. Oh, and there’ll also be an abridged SDCC roundup edition of The Week in Spandex on Monday (or maybe Tuesday), and business will resume as normal next weekend.
