Toho’s Godzilla Destruction gets a release date and new trailer

April 15, 2021 by Andrew Newton

TOHO Games has announced they will be releasing their new mobile game, Godzilla Destruction, on 27th April.  Accompanying the announcement is a new trailer (see below) showcasing the gameplay and also a couple of new screenshots.

Godzilla Destruction takes players on a rampage around the world as the king of monsters himself.  Control Godzilla and destroy some of the world’s most famous and historical landmarks using his gigantic body and devastating Heat Ray.  Crush buildings underfoot or with a sweep of the tail and for those truly huge structures make them topple with just a breath.

Cross oceans to get to other cities and imagine the terror of the human population as the gargantuan lizard begins his reign of destruction.

“The Godzilla universe is beloved by people all over the world, regardless of age or nationality,” said Ota. “For all of Godzilla’s fans, we at Toho will continue to venture into new territory to build and expand the Godzilla universe. Stand by for even more destruction!”

Godzilla Destruction is the second title in the trio of Godzilla games announced by TOHO last month, with Run Godzilla, already available and details of Godzilla Battle Line to be announced at a later date.
