A trailer has arrived online for writer-director Anders Thomas Jensen’s Danish dark comedy The Last Viking.
When bank robber Anker (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) is released from prison after more than a decade, he attempts to help his brother Manfred (Mads Mikkelsen) recover his stolen loot, only for Manfred’s mental disorder to prevent him from remembering where he hid the money.
The cast includes Mads Mikkelsen, Nikolaj Lie Kaas, Sofie Gråbøl, Bodil Jørgensen, Lars Brygmann, and Nicolas Bro. Check out the trailer below…
“Anker is released from prison following a fifteen-years sentence for robbery. The money from the heist was buried by Anker’s brother, Manfred. Only he knows where it is. Unfortunately, Manfred has since developed a mental disorder, causing him to forget all. Together, the brothers embark on an unexpected journey to locate the money and discover who they really are.”
