Trailer for post-apocalyptic action thriller Afterburn starring Dave Bautista, Olga Kurylenko and Samuel L. Jackson

The first trailer has landed online for director J.J. Perry’s (Day Shift, The Killer’s Game) post-apocalyptic action thriller Afterburn.

Dave Bautista stars as a treasure hunter who is hired to travel to Eastern Europe a decade after its destruction by a solar flare in order to retrieve one of the world’s most valuable paintings – Leonardo da Vinci’s The Mona Lisa.

Along with Bautista, the cast also includes Samuel L. Jackson, Olga Kurylenko, and Kristofer Hivju. Check out the trailer below…

After a massive solar flare destroys the Earth’s eastern hemisphere, an emboldened treasure hunter for hire adventures to Europe to uncover the coveted Mona Lisa, only to learn the world needs a hero more than it needs a painting.

Afterburn is slated to release later this year.
