Trailer for RZA-directed One Spoon of Chocolate starring Shameik Moore

April 23, 2026 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its theatrical release this May, a red band trailer has landed online for One Spoon of Chocolate, the upcoming action thriller written and directed by Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA (The Man with the Iron Fists).

Shameik Moore stars as Unique, an ex-military convict looking for a new start who finds himself the target of a gang and the shady local sheriff’s office when he begins to looks into the suspicious disappearances of young men in the small town.

Joining Moore in the cast are Paris Jackson, Blair Underwood, RJ Cyler, Emyri Crutchfield, Jason Isbell, Harry Goodwins, Rockmond Dunbar, Michael Harney, Johnell Young, Isaiah Hill, and James Lee Thomas. Watch the trailer below…

RZA’S ONE SPOON OF CHOCOLATE follows Unique (Shameik Moore, “Dope” and voice of Miles Morales in the Spider-Verse films), a veteran and ex-convict seeking a fresh start in a small town. After an altercation with a gang of locals, he starts to suspect they may have something to do with the disappearance of young men in the area – including his cousin. As he digs for the truth, he finds himself the target of not only the gang, but the local sheriff’s office, whose involvement in the disappearances may be even more sinister. Instead of waiting for his turn to be picked off, Unique and those closest to him (Paris Jackson, RJ Cyler) decide to fight back in this sharply satirical and stylish action thriller from the visionary leader of the Wu-Tang Clan.

One Spoon of Chocolate arrives in cinemas on May 1st.
