Vice Press and Grey Matter Art release limited edition John Carpenter posters by artist Matt Ferguson

Vice Press and Grey Matter Art have announced the release of a new set of quad-sized art prints for John Carpenter’s The Fog, Escape From New York, They Live and Prince of Darkness, created by British artist Matt Fegurson for the films’ 4K restorations. From today, for one week only, collectors will have the chance to purchase these rather splendid posters, in their classic British cinema quad size – a huge 40×30 inches. “Last year I had the distinct pleasure of being hired by StudioCanal to work on the 4K John Carpenter classics,” said Ferguson. “I conceptualised and made all of the key art for the films. It was a dream job for me and I am really happy the art came out pretty much exactly as I intended. My ideal versions of the art are the UK quad size, it’s the way the art was intended to be viewed and also my personal favourite dimensions for movie posters, so I am really happy that we are getting to make these available to people.”

Each poster will retail for £50/ $60 or all four can be purchased as a set for £150/ $180, and as a special bonus, anyone ordering the full set will also receive a never-before-released mini print. The posters can be ordered now via Vice Press and Grey Matter Art.
