What We Do In The Shadows comes to an end with trailer for sixth and final season

October 4, 2024 by Ricky Church

The sixth and final season of What We Do In The Shadows is just a few short weeks away and FX has released a new trailer for the vampire comedy series.

What We Do In The Shadows is based on the 2014 film of the same name from Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, focusing on a group of vampires in a mockumentary-style comedy as they try and fail to conquer the modern world. The series stars Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillén, Mark Proksch and Kristen Schaal.

The final season of What We Do In The Shadows will premiere with three episodes on FX on October 21st. Clement and Waititi executive produce the series with Paul Simms, Sam Johnson, Sarah Naftalis, Yana Gorskaya, Kyle Newacheck, Garrett Basch and Eli Bush. Watch the trailer below…

After a very brief stint as a full-blown vampire, Guillermo is re-evaluating his life. Who is he if not a familiar who will do anything to please his Master in hopes of one day being turned into a vampire? Meanwhile, the vampires are reevaluating, too. When their former roommate reappears after a 50-year nap, they realize how little they’ve done in half a century — not one goal accomplished, not one dream pursued, not one part of the New World conquered (except for their street and part of Ashley Street).

What We Do In The Shadows will premiere its final season on October 21st.
