After dazzling audiences at CinemaCon this week, Disney has now officially shared the first trailer for TRON: Ares, the third instalment in the sci-fi series following 1982’s TRON and 2010’s TRON: Legacy, which sees Joachim Rønning (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil) directing Jared Leto as the titular Ares, an AI program sent from The Grid into the real world.
Featuring in the cast alongside Jared Leto are Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, with Gillian Anderson and Jeff Bridges. Check out the trailer below, along with the first poster and promotional images…

TRON: Ares is set for release on October 10th 2025.
