Black Mandala Films has released a trailer for the upcoming action horror Johnny Z.
Directed by Jonathan Straiton, the film follows Johnny, a half-human half-zombie who seeks vengeance on the corporation that created him, while searching for a doctor who can use his blood to create a cure for the zombie epidemic sweeping the Earth. Watch the trailer below…
Johnny is half human and half zombie. Within his blood just might be the cure to the zombie epidemic. Yet after escaping a medical prison called Nordac, he comes under the guidance of Grandmaster Jonray and his brother Crisanto. This sets Johnny on a path using his martial arts skills to find a doctor who can create the cure; while also helping his master to fight some personal demons.
Johnny Z features a cast that includes Michael Merchant, Felix Cortes, Jason Delgado, David E. McMahon and Ellie Church. It is expected to release later this year.
