Stephen Amell talks Casey Jones in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2

April 7, 2015 by admin

It was announced last week by the actor himself that Stephen Amell will be playing fan-favourite Casey Jones in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. At the Vancouver Expo Q&A session over the weekend to promote Arrow, Amell was asked about the similarities between Casey Jones and the character he plays in the show.

“Obviously the similarities are right there on the surface, but if the audition process and the script is any indication [Casey Jones] is going to be fundamentally different [from The Arrow],” he said. “As a matter of fact, it’s almost like the character of Casey Jones in this iteration of Ninja Turtles is almost a little bit more like the Oliver Queen that people know from the older comic books.”
