Gal Gadot to shoot Wonder Woman in the fall

February 21, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Originally published February 21, 2015. Updated January 18, 2020.

Yesterday Zack Snyder gave us our first look at Jason Momoa as he’ll appear as Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice [see here], and now thanks to Deadline we’ve got another tidbit of news about the fledgling DC Cinematic Universe.

In a report about Gal Gadot joining the Fox 2000 film Keeping Up With The Joneses, the site reveals that the Israeli actress will film the Wonder Woman 2017 solo movie this fall.

Wonder Woman is to be directed by Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad), who stated back in December that the film was yet to receive the official green light from Warner Bros., nor did it have a script in place.

If cameras do start rolling on Wonder Woman this year, it will be the second DC movie to shoot in 2015, with David Ayer gearing up to kick off principal photography on Suicide Squad in the Spring.
