The official trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League is already in the works

May 23, 2020 by EJ Moreno

Only days after confirming its existence and upcoming release, the official trailer Zack Snyder’s Justice League – coming to HBO Max in 2021 – is already in the works, confirms the filmmaker.

Responding to fan comments on his recent Vero post, director Zack Snyder addressed his work on the Justice League trailer. One fan asked, “I gather you’re in the editing process. Should I expect a trailer, though?” to which Snyder responded, “Working on it.” Check out a photo of the exchange below:

Although the filmmaker is already working on his cut of the Justice League trailer, it’s not yet known when this will make its debut. While the film slated for a 2021 release, there’s no indication if it would be the first half of the year or the latter half. If it’s early in the year, then reports say that HBO Max may want to release the trailer sometime this summer. With most major fan events cancelled for the foreseeable future, maybe Snyder can debut the trailer similar to how he announced the actual film’s release? The director could do a digital event, similar to Man of Steel‘s watch party?

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League was directed by Zack Snyder and featured Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta and Robin Wright as General Antiope, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Amber Heard as Mera and Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf.
