Yesterday we got our first look at the returning cast members of Coming 2 America, and now Amazon Studios has released a new batch of images for the comedy sequel ahead of next week’s trailer, which showcase new cast members KiKi Layne, Teyana Taylor, Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones, Jermaine Fowler, and Tracy Morgan; check them out here…
Set in the lush and royal country of Zamunda, newly-crowned King Akeem (Eddie Murphy) and his trusted confidante Semmi (Arsenio Hall) embark on an all-new hilarious adventure that has them traversing the globe from their great African nation to the borough of Queens, New York – where it all began.
Coming 2 America is set for release on March 5th 2021 and sees the return of Eddie Murphy (Prince Akeem), Arsenio Hall (Semmi), James Earl Jones (King Jaffe Joffer), Shari Headley (Queen Lisa), John Amos (Cleo McDowell), Louie Anderson (Maurice) and the barbershop crew, along with new cast additions Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, Jermaine Fowler, Bella Murphy, Rotimi, KiKi Layne, Nomzamo Mbatha and Teyana Taylor.
