Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World available now on Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch

May 28, 2021 by Andrew Newton

STUDIOARTDINK and ININ Games have today released Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.  The game will be available digitally via the online stores and also in retail outlets.  The new release trailer can be seen below…

Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World is a remastered action adventure that has remained faithful to the original game, Monster World IV, released in 1994.  The story, its middle-eastern inspired setting and overall design remain exactly the same but there has been many gameplay improvements and great attention to the voiceover work as well as the addition of enhanced 3D visuals.

In Asha in Monster World, Asha has been tasked with freeing four spirits that are being imprisoned by evil forces.  It’s a tough journey ahead with many enemies to defeat, fortunately she isn’t alone and early on is joined by Pepelogoo.  Join Asha and free the spirits to save the world.

“Now the adventure of Asha and Pepelogoo can be played on the latest consoles. Whether you’ve played the Mega Drive version of Monster World 4 or not, I’ve tried to make it enjoyable for everyone. This is what I consider to be an ideal remake. I hope you will enjoy the game! Welcome to Monster World!” – Ryuichi Nishizawa – creator of the Monster World series.

Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World is available now on Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch.  PC gamers can look out for the game arriving on Steam on 29th June.
