Tobey Maguire’s Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man gets a Hot Toys Spider-Man: No Way Home sixth scale figure

July 31, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Hot Toys has revealed a batch of promotional images for its sixth scale Movie Masterpiece Series Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man figure which is based on the appearance of Tobey Maguire’s webslinger from his recent return to the role in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The Marvel collectible is available to pre-order now from Sideshow, priced at $445; check it out here…

Faithfully crafted based on the appearance of Tobey Maguire as Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man/Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the movie-accurate figure features a newly developed head sculpt with amazing likeness, a masked head sculpt; a highly-poseable body with great range of articulation; beautiful recreation of Spider-Man’s red and blue suit with raised silver webbing patterns; highly-detailed accessories including Sandman’s cure, spider-man mask, and assorted spider-web shooting effect parts.

This Deluxe Version offers a themed diorama figure base that perfectly captured Sandman’s expression with fine texture surrounded by crumbling structures, with striped warning sign accessories to be another highlight fans won’t want to miss! A Special Edition available in selected markets will include a Doc Ock tentacle as bonus item exclusively to enhance your battling display.

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: No Way Home sees Jon Watts (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home) directing Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Zendaya (MJ), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson), Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan), Angourie Rice (Betty Brandt), Jorge Lendeborg Jr. (Jason Ionello), Benedict Wong (Wong), J.K. Simmons (J. Jonah Jameson), Martin Star (Mr. Harrington), J.B. Smoove (Mr. Dell), Hannibal Buress (Coach Wilson), Jamie Foxx (Electro), Alfred Molina (Doctor Octopus), Rhys Ifans (Lizard), Thomas Haden Church (Sandman), and Willem Dafoe (Green Goblin).
