The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince coming to the PS4 and Nintendo Switch

August 8, 2018 by Andrew Newton

NIS America has announced that they will be bringing Nippon Ichi Software’s puzzle adventure The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince to the Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch in 2019.  A trailer for this puzzler can be seen below…

In The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince the prince has become enchanted by the beautiful singing coming from the forest.  When he finally finds the owner of the voice is a lone wolf he gets accidentally blinded and, feeling responsible, the wolf leads him on a journey to find a cure for his blindness.  The wolf is no ordinary wild animal though but is a princess with the unusual ability to transform at will.

Players will need to lead the Prince through the dangerous forest and avoid the obstacles and traps they encounter as they progress.  To get past some obstacles will require the strength and agility of the wolf while some will require the brains and quick thinking that only the princess can provide.

There are also collectibles to be discovered on the journey which tell the tale of friendship, love and loss between the two characters.

The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince follows the tale of two lonely hearts brought together through a mutal misunderstanding. In it, you control the wolf, transformed to the guise of a princess who guides the blind princes through a perilous forest in search of a witch capable of returning his sight. The forest is home to a number of hostile beasts intent on ending your journey prematurely, as well as hazardous traps that put the prince in danger.

Transform into the wolf to dispatch your foes and guide the prince carefully as a princess to ensure his safety, in search of a happy ending.
