Match puzzle game Star Balloon arrives on Google Play this week

November 11, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Indie mobile games developer Aruma Studios has announced that their match-3 puzzle game, Star Balloon, will be available to purchase on Google Play on Thursday 14th November.  This challenging puzzle game will include all the familiar mechanics of match-3 puzzlers but runs in real time.  A trailer can be seen below showcasing the puzzlers challenging gameplay.

In Star Balloon, a balloon making factory has accidentally released some of their experimental balloons that contain exceptional properties, their most important of which is the titular ‘Star Balloon’ that can provide the whole world with free internet.  This special experimental balloon must reach the stratosphere to use its ability and it is up to players to ensure it gets there.

To get the Star Balloon to the stratosphere players will need to clear a path through the other balloons that have stuck to the clouds, this is achieved by tapping on a pair of fans located at both sides of the screen to control the direction of the balloons.  Those balloons that have stuck to the clouds can be cleared quicker by other experimental balloons that have unique abilities.

Star Balloon will be available on Google Play on Thursday but is available to pre-register now by clicking here.
