Christmas Mutilator spreads some festive fear

December 24, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Forget all about Christmas cheer and get ready for Christmas sheer terror as Galactic Crows has released Christmas Mutilator on Steam and Itch.io for PC.  This indie horror takes players into a seasonal themed location where they will need to survive against a deranged enemy.  Watch the launch trailer below…

Inspired by the horror films of the 1980s, Christmas Mutilator takes players to a quiet cabin where Amelia has arrived and is waiting for her husband and children to get through a snow storm.  With the cabin cosy and warm and looking all ready for Christmas, Amelia has nothing left to do but wait for her family to arrive, that is until a psychopathic Santa arrives.

Taking the role of Amelia, players need to fight for survival against a relentless antagonist by using every tool and trick in the book.  Find out more about the maniac man in red and discover if Amelia’s loving husband is really stuck in the storm in this immersive game that blends psychological tension with outright terror.

Featuring:

  • Immersive gameplay with inspiration from narrative-driven horror games like Fears to Fathom.
  • Traditional text messages are exchanged for haunting phone calls that will keep players on edge.
  • A nail-biting experience with a 50 minute gameplay duration.
  • A Christmas themed environment and a grim, brutal story come together to create an unsettling dichotomy.
  • Developed by solo developer Tarba Paul Cornel, creator of Psychopathy Assessment and Psychopath Massacre.

Christmas Mutilator is available now on Steam and Itch.io.
