Trailer for A24 horror Opus promises a once-in-a-lifetime experience

A24 has shared the first trailer and character posters for writer-director Mark Anthony Green’s upcoming horror Opus.

The Bear’s Ayo Edebiri stars as Ariel, a young writer who is invited to the compound of a pop star (John Malkovich) who has resurfaced after mysteriously disappearing three decades earlier, where she discovers his twisted plans for his guests. Watch the trailer below…

The cast includes Ayo Edebiri, John Malkovich, Juliette Lewis, Murray Bartlett, Amber Midthunder, Stephanie Suganami, Tony Hale, Young Mazino, and Tatanka Means.

A young writer (Ayo Edebiri) is invited to the remote compound of a legendary pop star (John Malkovich) who mysteriously disappeared thirty years ago. Surrounded by the star’s cult of sycophants and intoxicated journalists, she finds herself in the middle of his twisted plan.

Opus arrives in cinemas on March 14th.
