Survival horror Woodland Werewolf coming in January

September 2, 2025 by Andrew Newton

With zombies dominating the horror genre, it is always nice to see developers use other monsters of the night in their games. Developer PaulChristianIndieGame.com has decided to go for the good old-fashioned werewolf approach with Woodland Werewolf, which will be released in January 2026.

With Woodland Werewolf, head into an eerie forest resort as an employee dealing with the last visitors of the holiday season and survive the pack of savage and intelligent werewolves that emerge from the depths of the forest.

As the last line of defence against the werewolves, players must seek out the scarce resources, set traps, make agonising choices, save the innocent visitors, and uncover the source of the werewolf invasion. As players explore the moonlit forest and the creepy ruined buildings, they will need to decide when to fight, when to hide, and when to do the clever thing and run away.

With visceral action and suffocating horror, players can exploit the environment to their advantage, set a variety of traps to slow the beasts down, and use distraction techniques to lead them in the wrong direction. When the time comes, players can unleash devastating force with firearms. Make every bullet count, and use every first aid kit wisely.

Look out for more news about Woodland Werewolf coming in the future.
