Jason Voorhees comes to Call of Duty’s The Haunting and Fortnite’s Fortnitemares

October 16, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Fans of the hockey mask-clad horror villain Jason Voorhees will be in their element in gaming this Halloween season as he slashes his way onto two hugely popular games – Call of Duty’s The Haunting and Fortnite’s Fortnitemares. Trailers for both of these games starring Jason can be seen below…

Jason takes out a survivor in Call of Duty’s The Haunting.

Jason is available now in Call of Duty with the Jason Operator Bundle. In this bundle, players can kit themselves out as the iconic killer in two different looks, including the brand-new Tactical Jason design, which is exclusive to the Call of Duty universe. As well as the skins and weapons, players can also take part in the limited-time Slasher Deathmatch: Jason game mode. This mode will have players either facing the supernatural killer as a group, or taking the role of Jason and hunting down and eliminating the survivors before time runs out.

On Friday 17th (not 13th, unfortunately) Fortnite’s Fortnitemares sees the arrival of the Jason outfit, along with exclusive emotes and much more. Although, players are already able to encounter him as a boss enemy as he wanders around the arena hunting down nearby players with low health. Those lucky enough to defeat him will be rewarded with powerful loot including a mythic weapon. There’s also a Jason Haunted Cup tournament underway where players can score big by defeating him.
