The Pokémon Company International has released Mega Evolution—Phantasmal Flames, the latest expansion for the long-running Pokémon Trading Card Game. This latest expansion continues the Mega Evolution Series with more powerful Pokémon.
The Mega Evolution—Phantasmal Flames expansion brings a line-up of powerful Fire-type and Darkness-type Pokémon, including Mega Charizard X ex, Mega Heracross ex, Mega Sharpedo ex, and Mega Gengar ex, both of which have an increased HP and attack damage when compared to their regular ex counterparts. The new Pokémon will bring even more excitement and strategies to the trading card game.
As well as bringing new and exciting evolved Pokémon to Trainers, Mega Evolution—Phantasmal Flames expansion also sees an evolution of the art style, bringing ultra-rare cards that showcase the Mega Evolution Pokémon ex in dynamic detail, with some also featuring their original forms as silhouettes.
Players can find and collect these new cards now by purchasing booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes and various collections from their retailer.
Additionally, players can now enjoy Mega Evolution—Phantasmal Flames via the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live app that is available on Android, iOS, Windows and Mac. Those who log in with the Mega Evolution—Phantasmal Flames Battle Pass will receive a new deck featuring Mega Charizard X ex, with another deck featuring Mega Sharpedo ex unlocking after further play.
