March 4, 2026 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its UK release this April, a trailer has arrived online for The Cure, the psychological thriller from director Nancy Leopardi.

The film centres on Ally, a young woman suffering from a mysterious illness who discovers that her adoptive billionaire biotech parents have been harvesting her blood with sinister intentions when they discover her rare blood type can be used to produce “fountain of youth” properties.

The cast includes Samantha Cochran, David Dastmalchian, and Ashley Greene. Watch the trailer below…

Afflicted with a mysterious illness, Ally (Samantha Cochran – V/H/S/Halloween) discovers that her billionaire adoptive parents (David Dastmalchian – Late Night with the Devil & Ashley Greene – The Twilight Saga) have sinister designs linked to her recovery and the surrounding community. With twisted visions of macabre experiments haunting her, she must fight to escape the binds of the malicious medical condition as well as the fortified island compound or be drained of everything that makes her human.

The Cure is set for release on April 13th.
