The Top 100 Your Sinclair ZX Spectrum Games: #96 – Cruising on Broadway

May 24, 2016 by Villordsutch

Villordsutch counts down Your Sinclair’s Top 100 ZX Spectrum Games…

Continuing with the countdown we arrive at No. 96 and with this we hit Cruising on Broadway from Solarsoft, released way back in 1983.

With the box art and title – seen above – you’d probably be expecting something flash and filled to the back teeth with product placements; you couldn’t get any more further from the truth once the game is loaded.

This extremely basic game involves you colouring in a single track from white to green as quickly as possible, whilst evading capture from the chaser, and that’s it!  Sounds easy?  On paper it is, however I guarantee you that you’ll still be playing this game an hour later, cursing Jeff Naylor – the creator of the game – for making something so addictive.
