We got a second theatrical trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction just last week [watch it here], and now we’ve got an international version featuring plenty of new footage… and it may just be the best trailer for the Michael Bay-directed sequel yet. Take a look after the official synopsis….
“TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION begins after an epic battle that left a great city torn, but with the world saved. As humanity picks up the pieces, a shadowy group reveals itself in an attempt to control the direction of history… while an ancient, powerful new menace sets Earth in its crosshairs. With help from a new cast of humans, Optimus Prime and the Autobots rise to meet their most fearsome challenge yet. In an incredible adventure, they are swept up in a war of good and evil, ultimately leading to a climactic battle across the world.”
Transformers: Age of Extinction sees Mark Wahlberg (Ted) leading a new cast that includes Jack Reynor (What Richard Did) and Nicola Peltz (Bates Motel), Stanley Tucci (Captain America: The First Avenger), Li Bingbing (Resident Evil: Retribution), Sophia Myles (Underworld), Victoria Summer (Saving Mr. Banks), Titus Welliver (Lost) and T.J. Miller (She’s Out of My League) alongside voice actors John Goodman (Inside Llewyn Davis), Ken Watanabe (Godzilla), John DiMaggio (Futurama), Mark Ryan (Transformers) and the returning Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, Robert Foxworth and Reno Wilson.
Transformers: Age of Extinction is set for release on June 27th in North America and July 10th in the UK.
