Game of Thrones’ Alfie Allen joins Shane Black’s The Predator

February 22, 2017 by Ricky Church

As Shane Black prepares his Vancouver shoot of The Predator, he’s just made another addition to the cast of the reboot. Game of Thrones‘ Alfie Allen, who plays Theon Greyjoy in the series, has been cast as an ex-Marine helping the main group in their attempt to kill the Predator.

Earlier this week, Black released a picture of himself with the cast in full costume, but with Allen’s casting there could possibly be more to follow.

Not much else is known about The Predator other than Black’s confirmation the film will indeed be rated R and seems to be a full-on reboot rather than a sequel to the original 1987 Predator film. Furthermore, lead star Boyd Holbrook also said it is unlikely original star Arnold Schwarzenegger is unlikely to cameo in the new film.

The cast of The Predator includes Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight), Thomas Jane (The Punisher), Jacob Tremblay (Room) Sterling K. Brown (This is Us, The People v. O.J. Simpson), Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele), Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse) and Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones). The film is currently set for a February 9th, 2018 release.
