Dead by Daylight unleashes Freddy Krueger on unsuspecting gamers

October 25, 2017 by Andrew Newton

One…two Freddy’s coming for you… well he will be coming for PC players of Dead by Daylight tomorrow (26th October) thanks to developers Behaviour Digital.  Last year’s October chapter was based on Halloween and saw players fleeing from Michael Myers but the chapter arriving this Halloween season is based on the iconic A Nightmare on Elm Street and will be twice as terrifying as you join with friends to escape the clawed fiend of nightmares, Freddy Krueger.

A Nightmare on Elm Street was created by Wes Craven back in 1985 and the terrifying Freddy Krueger (played by Robert Englund) with his iconic clawed glove became one of the most popular slasher flick villains ever.

Michael Myers had some brilliant detection abilities and Leatherface’s abilities (from the Leatherface DLC) allowed some perks with regards to survivor’s aura mechanics, however, no details have yet been released as to what skills Freddy Krueger will possess in order to make him the stone cold killer in the game.  We will just have to wait until tomorrow to find out.  Sleep well, if you dare!

A Nightmare on Elm Street chapter will be available for Dead by Daylight tomorrow on Steam.

Freddy is coming to Dead by Daylight – as part of the A Nightmare on Elm Street Chapter. He will instill fear in you, and it doesn’t matter if you’re awake or asleep. He and his claw clad hand will find you – so keep running.
