Seth Rogen joins Christian Bale in Steve Jobs biopic as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak

October 31, 2014 by Gary Collinson

Last week screenwriter Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network) confirmed that Christian Bale (American Hustle) is set to portray Steve Jobs in a new biopic from director Danny Boyle (28 Days Later).

Now Variety is reporting that Seth Rogen (This Is the End) is in final talks to join the project as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, while Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty) is also in the frame for an unspecified role.

Based on Steve Jobs, a biography written by William Isaacson, the film will reportedly take place across three long scenes, each showing Jobs backstage prior to one of Apple’s product launches.
