Jennifer Lawrence in talks for The Dive

January 17, 2015 by Alfie Nobes

The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence has been tipped for a starring role in upcoming biopic The Dive.  It also seems Jennifer Lawrence’s Hunger Games partner in crime Francis Lawrence is in talks to direct the James Cameron production. The pair worked together on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire as well as both of the Mockingjay movies.

The Dive tells the true love story of professional free divers Audrey Mestre and Francisco Ferreras who went on to break a number of diving records. Sadly, Mestre passed away at the age of 28 when attempting a dive of over 500 feet.

Despite set backs on the production of Cameron’s upcoming Avatar trilogy, the film aficionado is still determined to release the trilogy, one episode a year starting in 2017.
