Chris Miller talks 23 Jump Street/Men in Black crossover, “it’s a really interesting concept”

February 24, 2015 by admin

Still struggling to believe that a 23 Jump Street and Men in Black crossover movie is in development following the Sony Hack scandal last December? You know the one which Sony plans to use as a reboot to the Men in Black franchise? Well, it looks like it is still on the table.

“Well, it’s very, very early on in this crazy fever pitch, but it’s definitely a really interesting concept that makes you think”, Chris Miller told ComingSoon. “Talking about it, developing it with Jonah [Hill] and Channing [Tatum] and Rodney and the studio, we can’t just do the ‘hey, it’s the same thing again’ schtick because we did that already”.

But if this will indeed be 23 Jump Street, what about the posters for upcoming movies during the credits of 22 Jump Street?

“Those are canon, all 22 sequels,” Miller said. “If we’re going to do something, it’s got to be different, but still have that same very specific Jump Street flavour to it.”

No release or production date has been set for 23 Jump Street/Men in Black, but Lord and Miller will have their hands full at the moment with The LEGO Movie 2 and TV shows The Last Man on Earth and The Greatest American Hero in their schedules.
