Bo-Katan is very important to The Mandalorian’s story says Katee Sackhoff

November 17, 2020 by Samuel Brace

Katee Sackhoff, the actress behind Bo-Katan in The Mandalorian, says the character is very important to the show’s story.

Last Friday, hardcore Star Wars fans got a bit treat when Bo-Katan – a character from previous animated shows like Star Wars: Clone Wars – made her live-action debut.

Katee Sackhoff voiced the character in her previous animated appearances and returned to the role to play the important Mandalorian leader in the third episode of the Disney+ flagship series.

Bo-Katan is looking to retake the Mandalorian homeworld once she has grabbed the Darksaber back from villain Moff Gideon. But how important will Bo-Katan be to The Mandalorian‘s future storyline?

Speaking to ET, the actress said: “I’m excited to see what everybody thinks because she truly is so special. And she’s been such a pivotal character in this world and she’s so important to the story in Mandalorian.”

It certainly sounds like Bo-Katan is more than a one-off cameo in The Mandalorian. Hopefully, we see her again soon, perhaps this season and next year for season three.
