Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will have zombie action

November 2, 2014 by Tom Powter

Following on from a leak earlier this week, a press release from GameStop has now seemingly confirmed that the walking dead will once again rear their heads in the Call of Duty universe with Call of Duty: Advances Warfare.

The zombies mode will be a “part of” the Advanced Warfare season pass, which costs a whopping $49.99, and comes with four packs of multiplayer maps and the bonus Atlas Gorge map. Those who purchase GameStop’s ‘Day Zero’ edition will be granted double XP for the entirety of Monday 3rd – the game’s release date, for those who pre-ordered. Early buyers will also gain access to “Advanced Arsenal bullet brass exoskeleton and EM1 Quantum directed energy weapon, plus the AK-12G Assault Rifle and Crossbow-B2 custom weapons.” (thanks joystiq!)

GameStop’s press release does not, however, give any indication of when the zombie mode will arrive in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. As the mode has been consistently one of the most popular aspects of Call of Duty, it hopefully won’t be too long.
