Star Wars: The Force Awakens caught a lot of flack for feeling like a retread of A New Hope. Poe Dameron, for example, is a handsome, wisecracking, crack shot pilot in a leather jacket. Sound familiar? Well, Poe Dameron actor Oscar Isaac wants to make clear that he doesn’t think that his character is a […]
UPDATE: Matt Reeves reportedly eyeing Jake Gyllenhaal as replacement for Ben Affleck in The Batman
UPDATE: In his latest video, John Campea is now claiming that Jake Gyllenhaal is being eyed for the role of Batman, and that Matt Reeves is considering two ideas for his trilogy – one which would serve as a prequel to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and the other as a standalone series of […]
Armie Hammer is relieved that he never got to play Batman in Justice League Mortal: “I wouldn’t want to watch a 19-year-old Batman”
Once upon a time, a Justice League film was in the works under the direction of George Miller. The film was called Justice League Mortal, and in addition to the rest of the core League, the film would have featured an entirely new Batman. The unknown actor pegged to play Bruce Wayne was some guy […]
Jason Momoa confirms popular Aquaman fan theory from Man of Steel
Before the DC Extended Universe, there was simply Man of Steel. A film meant to revive the Superman franchise in the same way that Christopher Nolan breathed new life into Batman. Even early trailers felt a bit like ‘Christopher Nolan Presents Superman’. However, when the film failed to stand on its own critically, Warner Bros. […]
Ray Fisher reveals the villains that he would like to see appear in a Cyborg solo film
Justice League is nearly out in theaters, and that means Cyborg is about to be thrust into the mainstream spotlight. Sure, the general public knows about Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Superman, and even Aquaman (though perhaps for all the wrong reasons), but Cyborg? Maybe not. If the character is received well, however, he may very […]
Danny McBride on the plot and tone of the Halloween reboot, and convincing Jamie Lee Curtis to return
Love it, or hate it, a Halloween reboot is being released next year from the minds of Danny McBride and David Gordon Green. Regardless of how you feel about the team involved, or the fact that the film will disregard every Halloween sequel, there is one thing we can (possibly) all agree on: having Jamie Lee […]
Sebastian Stan talks about the difficulties of filming Avengers: Infinity War
Avengers: Infinity War is being touted as one of the biggest, and most impressive comic book films ever made. We have heard this repeatedly from the cast, crew, and head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige himself, and while we still don’t have a trailer to chew on, we do have yet another cast member talking […]
Jason Momoa teases the start of production on The Crow reboot
1994’s The Crow needs no introduction. A film meant to launch martial artist Brandon (son-of-Bruce) Lee into the spotlight, but only served to cut his life tragically short due to behind-the-scenes negligence. That’s all well documented elsewhere, however. Following that fiasco, a few direct-to-video sequels were released to lackluster reviews. Which is a shame, as […]

Now that Murder on the Orient Express has officially released in theaters, director, and star Kenneth Branagh is looking towards the future. At a recent press junket for the film (via CinemaBlend), Branagh talked a bit about the next Agatha Christie novel that he would like to see adapted to the big screen: Death on […]

Talking on the Post Mortem podcast, the Paranormal Activity director revealed that he was offered to direct The Conjuring, and also explains why he decided to decline:“I kind of wanted to just kind of cash out and be […]
