DC Universe invades Lineage 2: Revolution

November 14, 2018 by Andrew Newton

In celebration of Lineage 2: Revolution’s first anniversary, Netmarble Corp. and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced that heroes and villain costumes from the DC universe will be crossing over into Lineage 2’s game world for a limited time.  As you’ve probably guessed from the image, all content will be themed around Batman.  Three new trailers have been revealed showing 3 of the new costumes that will be available…

One year ago Lineage 2: Revolution was launched in 56 countries across North America, Europe, Oceania and the Middle East and since that time it has become one of the most popular mobile MMORPGs with more than 30 million registered players.

Batman themed content includes 5 character costumes, one for each of the five in-game races.  These costumes are:

  • Human Race – Batman costume.
  • Dark Elf Race – The Joker costume.
  • Elf Race – Catwoman costume.
  • Dwarf Race – Harley Quinn costume.
  • Orc Race – Mr. Freeze costume.

There will also be five Batman themed mounts and ten weapons for each of the costumes.

The crossover doesn’t end there as certain characters will make an appearance as bosses with Poison Ivy and Bane in the new Temporal Rift Dungeon ‘Castle of Terror’ and the Riddler and Scarecrow will be added in the near future as Field Boss and World Boss, respectively.

Finally, bonus Batman themed features include:

  • New Monster Codex: Poison Ivy, Bane, Scarecrow and the Riddler.
  • New Soul Crystals: Poison Ivy (Penetration), Bane (Attack), Scarecrow (Defense) and the Riddler (HP).
  • New Artifacts: A Brand New Feature! 16 Artifacts with DC characters, villains, dungeon monsters, non-player characters and more.

Lineage 2: Revolution is available on Android and iOS.
