DC’s Legends of Tomorrow casts Casper Crump as Vandal Savage

August 4, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Yesterday it was revealed that Falk Hentschel (Transcendence) has nabbed the role of Hawkman in The CW’s upcoming superhero series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and now it’s been announced that Casper Crump (The Killing) is set to play the supervillain Vandal Savage.

Legends of Tomorrow’s incarnation of Savage is described as “immortal, having spent the past 6,000 years moving like a virulent disease through history, whispering in the ears of despots and dictators, all leading to his eventual domination of the world.” Before appearing in the show, Crump will make his debut in the crossover episodes of Arrow and The Flash.

Danish actor Crump will be seen on the big screen next year alongside the likes of Alexander Skarsgard, Margot Robbie, Christoph Waltz and samuel L. Jackson when he plays the role of Captain Kerchover in Tarzan.
