Emma Stone might be an alien in trailer for Yorgos Lanthimos’ Bugonia

Focus Features has debuted the first trailer for Poor Things director Yorgos Lanthimos’ new film Bugonia.

A remake of the 2003 Korean film Save the Green Planet!, Bugonia reunites Lanthimos with his frequent collaborator Emma Stone, who stars as a high-powered CEO kidnapped by two conspiracy-obsessed men convinced that she’s a dangerous extra-terrestrial.

Joining Stone in the cast are Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone. Check out the trailer below…

Two conspiracy obsessed young men kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet Earth.

Bugonia arrives in cinemas this October.
