Microids has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for Garfield – Escape from Monday, revealing the first 10 minutes of the upcoming 3D platform adventure. This new gameplay trailer (see below) shows players what awaits them in Garfield’s dreams when the game launches on 24th September on PC and consoles.
Not many things can give Garfield a disturbed sleep, but when he eats Jon’s spinach lasagne, his catnap soon spirals into a terrifying nightmare with hostile food and his archenemies Nermal and Squeak. Guide Garfield through his nightmares, master his feline moves and defeat a variety of vegetables, sugar-free sweets and other unimaginable horrors.
Guide Garfield through a world filled with enemies and challenges, and use unique abilities that are tied to 3 different costumes that he can wear in-game. Garfield can get airborne with a turkey costume, a surfer outfit can give him the ability to slide over water, and the cowboy costume gives him skills with a lasso.
Although Nermal, tomatoes and other vegetables are there to cause chaos, Garfield can always rely on his friends Jon, Odie, Arlene and Pookie to help him get back to his peaceful sleep.
Explore over 40 levels, fight numerous enemies and bosses, collect dozens of delicious collectables, and eat huge amounts of lasagne this September in Garfield – Escape from Monday.
