Kate Winslet is on the case in new trailer for HBO’s Mare of Easttown

With a little over two weeks to go until Mare of Easttown premieres on HBO Max, a new trailer has been released for the limited crime drama series which follows small town detective Mare (Kate Winslet) as she investigates a local murder while her personal life crumbles around her; watch it here…

This limited series stars Winslet as Mare Sheehan, a small-town Pennsylvania detective who investigates a local murder as life crumbles around her. MARE OF EASTTOWN is an exploration into the dark side of a close community and an authentic examination of how family and past tragedies can define our present.

As her life crumbles around her, a small-town Pennsylvania detective Mare Sheehan (Kate Winslet) investigates a local murder. The series explores the dark side of a close community and provides an authentic examination of how family and past tragedies can define our present.

Joining Winslet in the cast of Mare of Easttown are Guy Pearce, Julianne Nicholson, Jean Smart, Angourie Rice, Evan Peters, Cailee Spaeny, David Denman, John Douglas Thompson, Patrick Murney, James McArdle, Sosie Bacon, Joe Tippett, and Neal Huff.

Mare of Easttown premieres on April 18th on HBO.
