Kevin Hart’s Die Hart: The Movie gets a trailer ahead of Prime Video premiere

February 9, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

Last month it was announced that Kevin Hart’s shortform series Die Hart had been acquired by Amazon Prime Video for release on the streamer in a condensed feature film format, and now we have the trailer for Die Hart: The Movie.

Directed by Eric Appel and written by Derek Kolstad, Die Hart sees Hart as a fictionalised version of himself, as he sets out to change his career, enrolling in ‘action hero school’ in an attempt to be taken seriously as an action star. Check out the trailer below, along with a selection of promotional images…

Die Hart sees Kevin Hart playing a fictionalised version of himself, as he sets out to pivot from being pigeonholed as a comedy wingman to being taken seriously as an action movie star. Hart attends “action hero school” run by Ron Wilcox, played by John Travolta (Paradise City, Eye for an Eye), where he attempts to learn the ropes on how to become one of the industry’s most coveted action stars.

Die Hart premieres on Prime Video on February 24th.
