Legends rise in new live action trailer for Destiny 2

September 2, 2017 by Andrew Newton

Activision and Bungie have joined forces with 72andSunny, RSA Films, and Framestore to create an epic live action launch trailer for Destiny 2 titled ‘New Legends Will Rise’.  This 2 minute trailer is full of action and humour and can be watched below…

This live action trailer brings heroic character, Cayde-6, to the forefront as he motivates three new Guardians into the battle to defend Earth in the war against the Red Legion.  Cayde-6 certainly has some pretty good motivational techniques but do they work on you? The trailer has been directed by the director of Kong: Skull Island, Jordan Vogt-Roberts and has been set to ‘Sabotage’ by Beastie Boys.

In Destiny 2 the villainous Dominus Ghaul and his Red Legion have arrived on Earth in order to claim the power which he believes is rightfully his.  As one of the remaining humans to have survived Ghaul’s onslaught players must rise up and defeat Ghaul before it is too late.

Destiny 2 will be released on the 6th September on Xbox One and Playstation 4, and on PC on the 24th October.
