Life is Strange 2 story trailer released

August 22, 2018 by Calum Petrie

DontNod entertainment and Square Enix created something special when they released Life is Strange back in 2015. The story of Max and Chloe was a writing masterclass of character development coupled with issues and scenarios that teenage life could relate to. The five-episode adventure spawned a thee-episode prequel focused around Chloe, then at E3 this year a offshoot game in the same universe titled The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit.

Now we have a full blown sequel to look forward to in Life is Strange 2, which will tell the story of teenager Sean Diaz and his younger brother Daniel. The two are on the run after a tragic incident involving the police, and you can get a glimpse of their story in the official reveal trailer here…

The game looks to once again be an emotionally charged whirlwind of hard choices and touching moments, and no doubt people will develop an emotional attachment to the brothers.

The journey of the game is not exactly clear as five episodes of running and hiding in the woods would not make for great gameplay. However, we shall find out more in time and we’ll get our first hands on with the game when the first episode drops on September 27th 2018.
