Lili Reinhart, Lola Tung, Victoria Pedretti and Alexandra Shipp are witches in the Forbidden Fruits trailer

Ahead of its world premiere next month at SXSW, a new trailer has landed online for the upcoming horror Forbidden Fruits.

Directed by Meredith Alloway, the film is an adaptation of Lily Houghton’s play Of the Women Came the Beginning of Sin, and Through Her We All Die, and centres on a secret witch cult which is ran from the basement of a mall store, who find themselves forced to confront their inner darkness or meet a bloody fate when a newcomer questions their sisterhood.

The cast includes Lili Reinhart, Lola Tung, Victoria Pedretti, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Chamberlain, and Gabrielle Union. Watch the trailer below…

Free Eden employee Apple secretly runs a witchy femme cult in the basement of the mall store after hours – with fellow fruits Cherry and Fig. But when new hire Pumpkin challenges their performative sisterhood, the women are forced to face their own poisons or succumb to a bloody fate.

Forbidden Fruits arrives in cinemas on March 27th.
