As well as dropping a new Avengers: Doomsday trailer during Friday night’s Disney D23 panel, Marvel Studios invited paul Paul Bettany and James Spader to take to the stage in Anaheim, California, bringing with the the first trailer for the MCU’s next Disney+ series VisionQuest.
The series sees Vision struggling to finding meaning in his new life in hiding, and mourning everything he has lost following the events of WandaVision, as he decides to consult with F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S., and Ultron who appear to him in human avatar form, leading to Ultron revealing the son who Vision thought was just an illusion may in fact be alive, and looking for his father.

When VisionQuest begins, Vision, rebooted and having escaped from those who sought to weaponize him, has been in hiding. Searching for new meaning, he consults the AI personas embedded in his programming, including F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S., and the infamous Ultron. His discreet existence ends when a bounty placed on his head thrusts him on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be Vision’s son, reincarnate. As Vision evades capture, he must confront his nature, resist Ultron’s influence, and unravel the enigma that is his young companion if he’s to survive.
VisionQuest arrives on Disney+ on October 14th.
