Coinciding with its US premiere this weekend, a poster, trailer and promotional images have landed online for The Red Mask, the meta-slasher from director Ritesh Gupta.
Helena Howard stars as Allina, an indie screenwriter who is hired to reboot a classic 80s slasher franchise and retreats to a remote cabin to complete her work. But when he screenplay starts to rewrite itself and two masked strangers knock on her door, she finds herself caught between the terrifying blurry lines of homage and reality.
