New Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer reveals Monsters Inc. world

February 10, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Square Enix have released a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III at the D23 Expo in Japan which shows off the new Monsters Inc. world and some gameplay.  As well as the new world/gameplay trailer, Square Enix also released a video of the game’s theme song, ‘Don’t Think Twice’ by Hikaru Utada.  We have both of these new videos for you below.

The new trailer begins with Sora, Donald and Goofy meeting Marluxia (who is a member of New Organization XIII) in a forest.  After this scene the trailer takes us to Andy’s room from Toy Story briefly showing us Woody, Buzz, Ham and Rex before taking us to the core of the trailer, Monsters Inc world.  In this section of the trailer our heroes have transformed into furry monster versions of themselves before entering the Monsters Inc factory and meeting fan favourites Sully and Mikey.

Originally aired at Disney’s D23 Expo Japan 2018 Tokyo, this trailer reveals that Sora, Donald, and Goofy will be adventuring in the Monsters, Inc. world! Check out Sora, Donald, and Goofy’s monster forms, powerful new Keyblade attacks, and the return of past friends and foes!

Kingdom Hearts III is set to arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year.
